Emergency Calling and 911

Important information about how emergency calling works on Nexoria Wireless service.

911 calling

Dial 911 from your device for emergencies. 911 calls are carried even when your account is suspended for non-payment, and in many cases even without an active SIM, as long as the device can reach a cellular signal.

Location information

When you call 911, your approximate location may be provided to the emergency call center. Accuracy depends on your device, GPS, and surroundings. Always be ready to state your location.

Text-to-911

Text-to-911 is available in some areas. If it is not available, you will receive a bounce-back message telling you to place a voice call. Call if you can, text if you can't.

Limitations

  • 911 will not work without a usable cellular signal
  • Wi-Fi calling 911 routes using your registered E911 address — keep it current
  • A dead battery or damaged device prevents emergency calls

Updating your E911 address

Email support@nexoriawireless.com to update the registered address used for Wi-Fi calling emergency routing.
